  13. Early yesterday evening i just totally reinstalled AmiTCP and PPP and
  14. then i configured it step by step.....
  15.  
  16. logged into uni. machine, ran SLiRP, then "startnet" on the Amiga...
  17.  
  18. full, proper AmiTCP stack, with PPP connection to SLiRP works 100%
  19. MLink was good, but it is now out!

  21. IBrowse with 4 sockets, works!  and it is very nice :)

  23. (mlink only let me have 1 socket :( )

  25. ACUSeeMe - at last! I got this working.....took video from NASA-TV and
  26. Lund... the sound was a bit screwed but i think thats just CIA timing
  27. messed up on my AGA 50MHz 030

  29. ...if anyone wants a screenshot of ACUSeeME working, i might upload to
  30. aminet.. ;)

  32. then i ran some other apps - Grapevine, AmFTP etc, they all run fine...

  35. My advice?

  37. If you have enough memory and want a PROPER internet connection and
  38. stack, then install AmiTCP and PPP, put SLiRP at the providers end, and
  39. use that instead.

  41. not much memory and only use basic things? Then carry on with MLink.

  44. now, i must just register PPP.device to get full speed! :)
